Dear Spurtle
No 36 buses are trundling through Spurtleshire bearing the hideously ungrammatical slogan 'Get there greener'.
As greener is an adjective, not an adverb, the only way this could be correct would be if all the passengers were coloured green when they boarded the bus and had become even greener by the time they got off again.
The slogan should of course read 'Get there more greenly' – as anyone who went to school in the 1960s (i.e. before correct grammar was abandoned in favour of self-expression) will confirm.
