Dear Spurtle
Mr Douglas is very keen to praise Mr Salmond's attitude to Mr Trump's 'best golf course in the world' and to the latter's outburst in view of the former's scheme to make Scotland 'the leading renewables nation in the world' (Letters, 11.2.12).
Apart from the semantic overlap, we can observe other consistencies: both ambitions are predicated on unsustainable economic assumptions; both schemes do not enhance Scotland's natural attraction.
