Would it not have made sense to do this ‘reconstruction’ work before Bellevue Road was re-tarmacked?
Strikes me that there has been a lack of forward thinking and planning here.

Spurtle: We agree. Disappointing and expensive lack of coordination – unless these were unforseeable emergency repairs to the sewer. Scottish Water says the work is scheduled to continue 'between Annandale Street and Bellevue Grove' until 11 May.
