The Gallery on the Corner – a brilliant creative hub at the junction of Northumberland and Dundas Streets – seeks two creative trainees from among people in Scotland with Autism Spectrum Condition. Anyone in the process of such a diagnosis can also apply.
The paid posts (minimum wage, 8 hours per week, 12-month contract) will involve training and work experience in 'the processes involved in creating commercial artwork as well as developing communication and customer service skills'.
The cost of applicants' enhanced check from Disclosure Scotland will be met by Autism Ventures Scotland.
If you're interested, contact Daniel Riley at Autism Initiatives (Tel. 0131 551 7272) or download an application pack here. The deadline for applications is noon on Monday 10 June 2013.
