Spotted on Broughton Street this morning, this flashy Mini with monovan cum wheelie-coffin attached provoked curious looks from passers-by.
It is the supposed accommodation of comic actor Ade Edmondson (The Young Ones; Bottom), who was interviewing staff at Crombie's and learning about how to make a bridie.
Edmondson is currently touring as lead mandolinist with punk-folk band The Bad Shepherds, but finds time between gigs to shoot a new documentary series, Ade in Britain, about 'British food and traditions, and the people who keep them alive'.

The 20-part series is due for transmission on ITV1 in November.
