The latest Spurtle is nearly ready and will be beautifying Broughton with local news, views and opinion from Tuesday onwards.
Issue 231 contains July-flavoured coverage of umpteen nearby planning developments (good, bad and ridiculous), heroic hand-overs, adventurous disappointment, friends, flits, fudge, flying and farewells. Buses, bins and all the latest on macaroni follow, not to mention galleries, a refuge and the latest wholly unreliable cupcake-related Referendum voting-intention poll results.
You can find copies of the Spurtle in all the usual haunts: libraries, newsagents, eateries, drinkeries, snippers, antique dealers, gift shops and purveyors of things snazzy and/or two-wheeled. If you can’t find a copy somewhere you think you ought to be able to, tell us and we’ll drop some round. Alternatively, download a colourful pdf from our Homepage here.
And remember ... without readers’ input we would have no news to report and no arms and legs not to deliver it. Please get in touch with any practical help or information you can offer.
