As you read this, advance copies of the July Spurtle are already scattering across the barony like political door-steppers fleeing an XL Bully who doesn’t intend to vote.

There were many other questions for which there was no time on the night. All candidates have been invited to answer these, although we recognise that some may be too busy at this stage in their campaigns to do so.

Leith Festival is one of the oldest in Edinburgh. 

It dates back to 1907 when a Badge Day was first held to raise funds for Leith Hospital.
